Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

For the Dill Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried dill)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the salmon fillets and let marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).
  3. Grill the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  4. Make the Dill Sauce: While the salmon is grilling, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped dill, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well and adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Serve: Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a minute. Serve topped with the dill sauce and garnish with extra dill if desired. Enjoy with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
