Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 blend for flavor)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves (romaine, iceberg, or your choice)
  • Sliced tomatoes (optional)
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Olive oil (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Patties: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined. Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  3. Cook the Patties: Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt.
  4. Assemble the Burgers: On a large plate, place a few lettuce leaves as a base. Top with the cheese-topped beef patty, followed by sliced avocado, and any additional toppings like sliced tomatoes or pickles.
  5. Serve: Enjoy the bunless burgers immediately with your favorite keto-friendly dipping sauces or sides.
